Terms of Service
Last updated: August 17, 2026
These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of DTRX Studio’s Discord bot hosting platform at https://bot.dtrxstudio.com, including the dashboard, billing, and hosted bots (the “Service”). By signing in, subscribing, or connecting a bot token, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
1. The Service
DTRX lets you host your own Discord bot application. You keep ownership of the bot in the Discord Developer Portal. We provide isolated hosting, a web dashboard, and modules such as tickets, custom commands, changelog, reviews, reaction roles, greetings, and giveaways, according to your plan.
The Service is provided as is. Features may change. We do not guarantee uninterrupted uptime, Discord API availability, or that every module will fit every server.
2. Eligibility and account
You must have a valid Discord account and meet Discord’s minimum age. Authentication is Discord OAuth. You are responsible for your Discord account, your bot token, and all activity under your DTRX account.
Notify us on Discord if you suspect unauthorized access. Do not share bot tokens in public channels.
3. Your bot and Discord compliance
You must comply with Discord’s Terms of Service, Developer Terms, and Community Guidelines. You are responsible for enabling the privileged intents your bot needs in the Developer Portal (Server Members and Message Content). DTRX bots do not request Presence Intent.
You remain the owner of your Discord application. Connecting a token authorizes DTRX to run that bot on our infrastructure until you stop or delete it.
4. Acceptable use
You agree not to use DTRX to:
- Violate Discord’s rules or any applicable law
- Spam, harass, phish, or distribute malware
- Circumvent plan limits, security, or billing
- Attempt to access other customers’ bots, tokens, or data
- Mine cryptocurrency or overload the platform
- Resell the Service without our written permission
We may suspend or delete bots and accounts that abuse the platform or Discord.
5. Plans, trial, and billing
Paid plans (Starter, Pro, Business) are billed through Stripe. Current prices and modules are shown on the pricing page. Plans include a 7 day free trial unless a promotion says otherwise. Subscriptions renew until you cancel in Billing or the Stripe customer portal.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current period. You keep paid features until then. We do not store card numbers. Price changes apply on the next renewal after notice on the site or by email/Discord where practical.
Fees for completed periods are generally non-refundable except where consumer law requires otherwise (including any cooling-off rights that apply in your country). If you believe a charge is in error, contact us on Discord before opening a payment dispute.
6. Modules and downgrades
Module access follows your plan. If you downgrade, extra custom commands or reaction role panels may be locked rather than deleted: they stay in the dashboard but stop working in Discord until you upgrade or remove extras. Greetings and giveaways require Business.
7. Data and privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect. For member data processed by your bot (tickets, reviews, greetings), you are responsible for informing your community as required by law. Deleting a bot on DTRX stops hosting and removes our stored configuration; it does not automatically delete Discord messages already posted in your servers.
8. Intellectual property
DTRX owns the platform, dashboard, branding, and documentation. You keep ownership of your Discord application, token, and the content you configure. You grant us a limited license to host and process that content only to provide the Service.
9. Availability and liability
Discord, Stripe, and hosting providers can fail independently of DTRX. To the maximum extent permitted by law, DTRX is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including lost profits or data. Our total liability for claims related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be limited by law (for example fraud).
10. Termination
You may stop using DTRX by cancelling billing, stopping your bot, and deleting bots from the dashboard. We may suspend or terminate access for Terms or Discord policy violations, unpaid invoices, or abuse. After termination, data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms. The “Last updated” date will change. Continued use after an update means you accept the new Terms. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and cancel your subscription.
12. Contact
Questions: Discord community https://discord.gg/EwXq68nJ3q. Include your bot support code when asking about a specific bot.
