Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 17, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how DTRX Studio (“DTRX”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use https://bot.dtrxstudio.com, the DTRX dashboard, and hosted Discord bots (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to this policy.

1. Who we are

DTRX is a Discord bot hosting and management platform. You sign in with Discord, connect your own bot token, and configure modules such as tickets, custom commands, reviews, reaction roles, greetings, and giveaways from a web dashboard.

For your DTRX account data, we are the data controller. For data about members of Discord servers where your bot is used (for example ticket messages), you are the controller and DTRX processes that data on your behalf to run the features you enable.

Contact: join our Discord at https://discord.gg/EwXq68nJ3q or use the support code shown on your bot card in the dashboard.

2. Information we collect

Account data (Discord OAuth). When you sign in we receive your Discord user ID, username, display name, avatar, and email address (if Discord provides it). We do not receive your Discord password.

Bot credentials and configuration. We store the Discord bot token you paste so we can host your bot. Tokens are encrypted at rest. We also store bot settings you create: guild IDs and names, ticket settings and transcripts, custom commands, changelog posts, review submissions, reaction role panels, greetings, giveaways, and a unique support code (for example BOT-X7K2).

Server activity processed by your bot. Depending on the modules you enable, the bot may process member join events (greetings), message content in ticket channels, reactions for giveaways and reaction roles, and review form submissions.

Billing data. Subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We store your Stripe customer ID, plan, subscription status, and period dates. We do not store full card numbers, CVC, or bank account details.

Technical data. Session cookies (HttpOnly, used to keep you signed in), standard server logs (IP, path, timestamp) for security and debugging, and optional platform activity logs of dashboard actions (for example creating or deleting a bot).

3. How we use information

  • Authenticate you and operate your hosted Discord bot
  • Apply the dashboard settings you save (tickets, commands, and other modules)
  • Process subscriptions, trials, upgrades, and cancellations through Stripe
  • Provide support using your support code and logs
  • Detect abuse, debug errors, and keep the Service reliable
  • Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for advertising.

4. Privileged Discord intents

Hosted DTRX bots connect with Server Members Intent and Message Content Intent. They do not request Presence Intent. Members Intent is used for greetings when someone joins a server. Message Content Intent is used for prefix custom commands and ticket message logging. You must enable those intents in the Discord Developer Portal for your bot application.

5. Sharing and processors

We share data only as needed to run the Service:

  • Discord. Authentication and bot API. See Discord’s Privacy Policy.
  • Stripe. Payment processing. See Stripe’s Privacy Policy.
  • Hosting infrastructure. Servers, database, and containers that store and run the Service under our control.

We may disclose information if required by law or to protect DTRX, our users, or others from harm or abuse.

6. Retention

  • Account and bot configuration: while your account is active
  • Ticket, review, changelog, and giveaway history: according to the limits configured on the platform, then older records are pruned
  • After you delete a bot: that bot’s configuration and related records are removed from the dashboard (Discord itself is not wiped by us)
  • Billing records: retained as required for tax and accounting
  • Technical logs: kept for a limited period for security and debugging

7. Security

We use HTTPS in transit, encrypt bot tokens at rest, isolate each customer bot in its own container, and restrict dashboard access with Discord OAuth session cookies. No method of storage or transmission is 100% secure. You remain responsible for keeping your Discord account and Developer Portal token private.

8. Cookies

We use a session cookie that is strictly necessary to keep you signed in (HttpOnly, SameSite=Lax). Public pages may also store a local preference if you hide the Discord community widget. We do not use advertising cookies.

9. Your rights

Depending on where you live (including Brazil’s LGPD, UK/EU GDPR, and CCPA where applicable), you may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, portability, or objection to certain processing. Contact us on Discord to make a request. We may need to verify your identity (for example via the Discord account that owns the DTRX login).

We do not sell personal information. California residents do not need to opt out of a sale.

10. Children

The Service requires a Discord account. Discord’s terms require users to meet Discord’s minimum age (generally 13, or higher in some countries). We do not knowingly collect data from children under that age. If you believe we have, contact us and we will delete it.

11. International transfers

The Service is hosted on infrastructure that may be located outside your country (including the United States). Discord and Stripe may also process data in the United States. By using DTRX you understand that your information may be transferred to those locations.

12. Changes

We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.

13. Related documents

Use of DTRX is also governed by our Terms of Service.
